Corporate Strategy & Business Transformation
Structured strategy work for established companies: where the business competes, what it stops doing, and how a transformation programme is sequenced so it survives contact with the operating year.
Approach
What the work is
We work with boards and management teams that already have a business and need to decide what it should become. The engagement starts from the client’s own numbers and market position rather than from a template, and ends with a decision record the board can act on — not a deck that describes the company back to itself.
Every engagement is scoped in writing before it starts. We describe method and deliverables here rather than outcomes, because outcomes depend on decisions a client makes after we hand the work over.
Methods we use
- 01Structured strategic review — position, capability and cost base assessed against the client’s stated objectives
- 02Portfolio and product-line rationalisation using contribution and capital-intensity criteria the client sets
- 03Target operating model design, with the accountabilities written down before the org chart is drawn
- 04Transformation roadmap sequenced by dependency and management bandwidth, not by calendar quarter
- 05Board-level decision papers with the options, the trade-offs and the reversibility of each stated plainly
What you receive
- Strategic position assessment
- Options paper with explicit trade-offs
- Target operating model definition
- Sequenced transformation roadmap
- Board decision record
Deliverables are handed over in editable formats the client already uses. We do not withhold models or working files at the end of an engagement.
How it is usually shaped
- A time-boxed strategic review, typically run alongside a planning or budget cycle
- An advisory retainer supporting an in-flight transformation programme
- A single board workshop with preparatory analysis and a written follow-up
Scope, duration and fees are agreed per engagement in a written proposal. No prices are published on this site, because a figure without a scope behind it would be misleading.
